From the Vault: Art About America
In honor of America’s 250th birthday, never-before-seen objects from our collection are coming out of the vault! See early portraits and prints of George Washington, paintings of the Pilgrims as they sail for the New World, printed propaganda by the patriot Paul Revere, early colonial portraits of clergy, and a print depicting the first prayer in Congress. From pilgrims to pastors to presidents, this exhibition offers a glimpse into the connection between Scripture and civic duty through rare and remarkable early colonial portraiture and printed propaganda that served the patriotic spirit of a young America.

The Valley of Dry Bones: Art Invitational
In Ezekiel 37:1–14, the prophet Ezekiel receives a vision in which God brings life, renewal, and restoration to a valley of dry bones.
Museum of the Bible invites Christian and Jewish artists residing in the continental United States to create original pieces in a variety of media that show their personal and spiritual reflections on this powerful theme. The goal is to show how the Bible can shape modern art and give visitors a meaningful way to connect with biblical themes through creativity.
